$12 billion waterfront ballpark wins approval at Port of Oakland

⚾️ The San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission voted and approved the Oakland Athletics $12 billion waterfront ballpark project on June 30th.

This reclassification of a 56-acre terminal at the Port of Oakland has been a win in the long legal battle the project has faced in order to begin development. As shipping traffic grows, some worry that the Port of Oakland will sorely miss the space.
