Hyundai Motor investing in U.S. electric battery manufacturing plants

🔋 Hyundai Motor is launching itself into the electric battery business.

The company announced its plans last week to invest $5.54 billion into electric vehicle and battery manufacturing plants on U.S. soil. With the expected implementation to be early 2025, they will aim to manufacture 300,000 vehicles right off the bat. This move is the latest in a stream of international automobile makers pushing to insert American'-centric manufacturing plants for electric vehicle components.
