October trailer orders jumped

After feasting on Thanksgiving pie earlier a few days ago…? Well, don’t mind if we do.

Surging to somewhere between 44,000 and 47,000, trailer sales jumped during the month of October. According to ACT Research, these numbers are 83% higher compared to last month, up 57% on a seasonally adjusted basis, and were 171% above those in October 2021.

Capitol Christmas Tree hauled by hauled by Hardy Brothers Trucking to DC

On a Kenworth T680 Next Gen, Hardy Brothers Trucking carried the 78-ft. tall red spruce called "Ruby” from the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina to the Capitol building. On Nov. 29th, the tree will be on Capitol's West Lawn for a tree lighting ceremony.

Hardy Brothers Trucking employs more than 100 drivers and the husband-and-wife driver team of Harold “Ed” Kingdon Jr. and Deborah Z. Kingdon were trusted with the haul. The tree was taken on a 14-day tour with this year’s tour theme “From the Mountains to the Sea” along with “From the National Forests in North Carolina” displayed on the truck’s driver and passenger sides for viewing.

🍌 Russia and Latin America are developing a trade route for Ecuadorean bananas. Because of sweeping sanctions against Russia across Western Nations, Russian consumers are eager to get their hands on their favorite fruit at a cheaper price. Surprisingly, bananas make up 21.7% of fruit sales in monetary terms this year.
