The rise of AI and automation has caused fear among many people that their jobs may be taken over, which is a daunting prospect. The impact of job loss due to AI is not only a threat to individual livelihoods but also to the economy as a whole. As machine learning and automation improve, AI is becoming increasingly capable of performing tasks that were once done by humans, leading to displacement or even elimination of jobs, particularly in industries that involve repetitive or routine tasks. AI can process vast amounts of data and make decisions based on that data, leading to more efficient and accurate outcomes in some industries, creating competition for human workers who may not be able to match the speed or precision of AI systems.

The fear of AI taking over jobs stems from uncertainty about the consequences of rapidly evolving technology, as well as concerns about income inequality and the future of work. However, a list recently released by Fox News names jobs that should not fear being replaced by artificial intelligence. In many workplaces, AI is used as a helper rather than taking over entire tasks. While two-thirds of jobs now use AI in the workplace, only a quarter are given the same workload as a human.
