🚆 Baltimore’s rail tunnel gets a presidential visit.

President Joe Biden was a regular on the Amtrak train from Delaware to Washington D.C. when he served as a U.S. senator. Visiting last week, the president voiced his concerns about a potential collapse in the tunnel and praised the massive federal investment for tunnel repairs. Through the recent $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure legislation passed by the Biden Administration, the tunnel can be expecting approximately $6 billion in bridge modification and equipment modernization along the new tunnel.
