CARB under pressure by environmental groups to accelerate ban of gas-powered truck sales


The California Air Resources Board has already put regulations into place that will require trucks sold in California to be zero-emission vehicles by 2040. But environmental advocacy groups are saying that it is not soon enough. The Advanced Clean Fleet proposal is currently under pressure to bring those deadlines up to 2036.

These “clean fleet” regulations have been in development since 2020.
