European ports brace for widespread union strikes


🪧 Expect the best, but prepare for the worst.

Europe seems to be taking the motto to heart as the looming port worker strikes in its largest shipping docks threaten the fragile supply chain it’s currently maintaining. Both Germany and the United Kingdom have withering ties between labor relations and the key ports in the countries. It’s expected that the handful of strikes scheduled will create a backup of containers at the terminals during one of the already busiest times of year - the holidays.
