Labor officials say that Amazon posed threats to employees over possible unionization

Prosecutors representing the U.S. labor board are accusing Amazon.com Inc. of intimidating staff and making threats over possible unionization.

The labor board claims that the company told staff that if they were to unionize, the company might cut pay and refuse to pay Juneteenth holiday wages. The Amazon Labor Union’s labor board, formed after a vote in New York’s Staten Island last month, is reviewing this and several similar allegations against Amazon.
