In the last eight years, over 420.3 million metric tons of e-waste have been produced, and by 2050, this number is expected to double. Even though computers and electronics only account for 2% of waste in landfills, they make up over 70% of the toxicity in them. It is up to us to decide whether to recycle or resell our e-waste or let it end up in the waste stream.
