The lab's first project, called Baton, involves creating an AI-powered digital platform and optimization engine to manage transportation networks for customers facing seasonality and fluctuating demand challenges. The team's ultimate goal is to build digital products within Ryder and explore further opportunities, including harnessing the potential of generative AI for the logistics industry.
