🛋️ The pandemic-born furniture boom is over.

During the early days of the Covid-19 shutdowns, Americans were eager to source up their homes and backyards with new furnishes. While North Carolina had long been given the title of the “the Furniture Capital of the World” since the late 19th century, consumers began purchasing their furniture from overseas in places like Italy, Poland, and Germany. Now, with the pandemic (mostly) behind us, there is a bulk of inventory clogging furniture warehouses and tight wallets are giving consumers a sense of hesitancy. However, the rental side of the industry is flourishing.
