U.S. trade gap shrinks due to increase in exports

🇺🇸 The U.S. trade gap has shrunk to its smallest in 2022 among goods and services.

The shrinkage comes in light of a pickup in exports and has elevated the second-quarter gross domestic product. Oil, industrial supplies, and consumer goods were shipped abroad in record amounts in May.
