According to USA FACTS, in 2020, the federal government collected $3.5 trillion in revenue and spent $6.6 trillion. Collections decreased by 3% while spending increased by 45%. Together, 2020 federal spending and collections produced a $3.1 trillion deficit.

March 29th marked the official end of voting for nearly 6k Amazon warehouse workers in Alabama. Workers cast their ballots by mail on whether to unionize. Amazon, the country’s second largest private employers with some 800,000 workers, fought hard to stop organizing efforts. Previous attempts to unionize at other Amazon sites have failed.
