4.4 million Americans quit their jobs in May

🧐 Americans seem to love quitting jobs these days.

In April 2022, a near record-high of 4.4 million Americans threw in the towel, despite growing fears of a recession quickly approaching. Salary increases at competitors, companies hiring unqualified workers to fill positions they aren’t suited for… experts are juggling an array of explanations to a tight labor market that is expected to persist for some time.
