DHL Global Forwarding and Hapag-Lloyd partner to further sustainability goals

🚢 DHL Global Forwarding and Hapag-Lloyd have agreed to a partnership to further the sustainability goals of both companies.

Hapag-Lloyd is shipping 18k TEU’s and decarbonizing the heavy transport with advanced biofuels such as FAME - a fatty acid methyl ester. The newer fuel tech will lower greenhouse gas emissions by over 80% and further push the companies towards their 2050 and 2045 net-neutrality goals.
