June inflation furthers recession concerns

⛽️ Gas, food, and rent prices soared again in June, creating more urgency to resolve inflation issues and avoid a recession.

The consumer price index soared 9.1% over the twelve months, almost half of that gain being in energy cost increases. The Federal Reserve has been incrementally raising interest rates in an attempt to squash the concerning inflation.
