Sunday delivery of FedEx packages being reduced in rural areas


🚚 FedEx Corp. is reducing delivery service on Sundays now that e-commerce spending begins to slow in the post-pandemic market.

The reduction plans amount to approximately dropping from 95% coverage to 80% and certain rural markets can expect to skip the post on Sundays. At the height of the pandemic, ground unit work leaped 33% in one quarter - now the company is reporting a 6.2% drop in the latest quarterly report.
