🚛 Transportation unemployment rates fell below 2019 levels.

According to updated data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the unemployment rate in the U.S. transportation sector in May 2023 was 0.7% lower than in May 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic began. In May 2019, the sector's unemployment rate was 4.3%, compared to 3.6% in May 2023. Moreover, there was a 0.9% decrease in the transportation sector's unemployment rate from May 2022 to May 2023.
