Weakening global demand leaves Europe and Asia struggling


December 1st S&P Global surveys are showing the bleak outlook and diminishing activity in both Europe and Asia are affecting factories in both regions for the next few months, at least. Inflated prices and geopolitical uncertainty have the markets cooling. Central banks are doing their best to weigh on purchasing power and put out the inflation fire.

The euro-zone Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) has climbed to 47.1 in October from 46.4 in September. The countries of Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain sit on the bottom rungs and Vietnam recorded the most startling plummet in Asia’s market.
