Once not so long ago… containers were few and far in between, with the shortage leaving shippers scrambling to get their goods across wide bodies of water like the Pacific Ocean. Now, an impending economic slowdown is forcing more and more sailings to be canceled.

Trump-era steel tariffs violate global trade rules, says WTO
The World Trade Organization (WTO)’s recent ruling has condemned Trump-era tariffs on steel and aluminum, calling it a violation of global trade rules. The United States has responded to the WTO’s ruling, saying that they “strongly reject” the finding and have no plans of removing the tariffs - according to assistant U.S. trade representative Adam Hodge.
