A “strong safety culture” is necessary for driver retention, according to supply chain leaders

At the 2022 TCA Safety & Security Meeting, panelists explained the need for better safety programs and culture for drivers in the field. However, the program shouldn’t come from outside of the organization.

CEOs on the panel argue that an in-house developed safety program would go hand-in-hand with enhancing the culture of the company. Drivers would not only understand that they are appreciated, but that they are also part of the community in the company.
