“Shrinkflation” is in full effect

📦 Your eyes do not deceive you - packaging is growing smaller.

Dubbed “Shrinkflation”, it’s not anything new. In times of great inflation, companies often start by reducing the size of packaging. For example, Cottonelle Ultra Clean Care toilet paper went from 340 sheets per roll to 312 sheets. Fritos Scoops chips “Party Size” used to be 18 ounces but is now more expensive at 15.5 ounces.
