🇦🇺 Australia is seizing the opportunity. Currently, the country is set up to absorb 20% of the world's lithium refining capacity within the next five years. Locally-mined lithium ore is set to be modified into battery-grade chemicals with the construction of several refineries down under. Currently, China produces over 80% of the globe’s lithium hydroxide. If the projections are correct, lithium will become one of Australia’s top commodities - surpassing wheat and beef.
