Great Lakes shipping grain to 27 nations


🌾 The Great Lakes are having a moment. Grain is the star of the show as 514,000 tons of the stuff is hauled through the St. Lawrence Seaway - an almost 40% increase between March 22 through July as compared to the same time in 2021. Grain shipments fell stagnant due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and the push to utilize the Great Lakes shipping lanes instead has served at least 27 different countries.
