Minnesota Trucking Company Engulfed in Flames


A trucking company in Minnesota went up in flames due to a significant fire ignited by a smoking semi-truck on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred at Huls Bros Trucking company on Collegeville Road on March 12th, around 4:10 p.m., located west of St. Joseph, Minnesota.

According to reports from WJON, the fire started when one of the eight semi-trucks parked at the facility began to emit smoke. Despite an employee's attempt to use a fire extinguisher, the smoke became too thick to approach the truck safely.

Multiple fire departments, including St. Joseph, Avon, Albany, Cold Spring, Rockville, St. John’s University, and St. Stephen Fire Departments, collaborated to extinguish the fire.

Unfortunately, the fire resulted in the complete destruction of the shop and all eight semi-trucks. The incident is currently under investigation by the state fire marshal.
