💨 Toyota’s new gig: meeting sustainability goals by converting old models into EVs.

Why throw blueprints away, right? Chief Executive Akio Toyoda spoke of the company’s accelerated plan to meet sustainable vehicle goals by replacing the innards of vehicles already being manufactured in their factories. The update comes in lieu of some accusing the company that popularized the Prius of falling behind in the EV market of the 2020s. While Toyota has stated that all vehicles cannot be transformed into zero-emissions vehicles overnight, they do have goals they are excited to meet.
