Used class 8 vehicles are retailing 40% lower than one year ago

🚛 Used Class 8 trucks were retailing 40% lower in May of 2022 than in May of 2021, according to ACT Research in their publication: State of the Industry: U.S. Classes 3-8 Used Trucks.

This preliminary report from the ACT showed that the average retail price & age of used trucks were virtually unchanged in month-over-month comparisons. This may bode the beginning of the end of a sales cycle for used trucks.
