Severe weather in Florida resulted in at least one tornado damaging homes, vehicles, and businesses. One likely tornado caused damage to homes in Clearwater Beach, with debris scattered and a home's gutter impaling a car's windshield, but fortunately, there were no injuries. Another potential tornado wreaked havoc around 65 miles north in Crystal River, damaging numerous businesses and homes, though no major injuries or deaths were reported. The National Weather Service will assess the damage to confirm the tornado and its strength. Throughout the state, millions of Floridians were under a tornado watch with concerns about wind gusts and heavy rain, while the storm system was expected to move away by the early afternoon.
