US employment growth slowed in June, with nonfarm payrolls increasing by 209,000, lower than the expected growth of 240,000. While the job market remains strong, the figure marked a considerable drop from May's revised total and was the slowest month for job creation since December 2020, with the unemployment rate declining slightly to 3.6%.
